We are currently looking for a Senior Site Electrical Engineer – Instrumentation to join our Construction team on a CCGT Power Plant project in Grudziądz, Poland.
Your role will encompass:
- Supervising the installation of the instrumentation works and the hookups (tubing)
- Mark the location of instrument at site according to the drawings (where required)
- Supervise the correct installation
- Record the daily productivity of the subcontractor
- Keep the records in daily basis regarding the installed equipment, the remaining works and the issues preventing from completion
- Communicate any issues regarding the installation to our engineering department and asking for solution, if the solution cannot be given at site
- Ensuring timely delivery of all instrumentation equipment and materials to site.
- Supervising the installation, calibration, and testing of instrumentation systems carried out by subcontractors.
- Coordinating with subcontractors to ensure correct installation of instrumentation devices, wiring, and tubing according to design.
- Implementing quality checks to confirm compliance with specifications, functional requirements, and safety standards.
- Identifying and resolving technical issues related to instrumentation installation and integration with DCS/PLC systems.
- Keeping accurate records of work performed and preparing progress and technical reports.
- Reviewing daily and progress reports submitted by subcontractors.
- Monitoring progress and reporting any deviations from the plan.
- Supporting system readiness activities, participating in walkdowns, and verifying installed quantities and materials.
- Participating in site coordination meetings with the Site Electrical Manager.
What you bring to the role:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or related Engineering field.

5+ years of relevant site experience, ideally in the energy or industrial sector.

Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems, field devices, and applicable standards.

Experience with calibration, loop checks, and DCS/PLC interfaces.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Commitment to safety and compliance.

Ability to manage priorities and work in a fast-paced construction environment.
