Grid Development Manager

We are currently looking for a Grid Connection Manager to join our M-Renewables team, in Warsaw, Poland. 

 

As a Grid Connection Manager, you will be managing projects related to interaction between users (PV, battery storage, windfarms & etc.) and the grid, and ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently (within scope, cost and time). Act as the focal point for technical, commercial and regulatory issues surrounding grid compliance, and grid connection for transmission and distribution networks.

 

Your role will encompass:

  • Provide technical assistance during project development and ensure the factors influencing and influenced by the grid connection are considered

  • Carry out technical due diligence and risk assessment on grid connection conditions/agreements offered by the Italian TSO and DNOs (Terna and Enel)

  • Manage Technical Advisors and Consultants to support Grid and Delivery related activities across Italy

  • Develop and maintain relationships with the Italian TSO and DNOs to support the grid application and delivery process

  • Manage and be responsible for the process of grid applications ensuring they are submitted in a timely manner. Progress through the Italian TSO’s, DNOs’ and national requirementsand processes without delay

 

What you bring to the role: 

  • University Degree in Electrical Power Systems and/or Electrical Engineering 

  • 5+ years involvement in medium to large-scale (10-50 MW) interconnections of power generation projects 

  • Candidates with additional qualification in renewable energy (especially RES) would be advantageous

  • Excellent use of Italian and English Language

  • Excellent use of Microsoft Office suite  

  • Strong ties to key industry players 

  • Knowledge of market-standard construction and equipment costs
