We are currently looking for a Site Manager to lead our Construction team, in the project Vineli, near Dobrich, Bulgaria.
Your role will encompass:
- Supervise all on-site construction activities including civil works, mechanical installation, electrical works, and commissioning coordination.
- Ensure compliance with the project schedule, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams on-site.
- Monitor daily progress, track project milestones, and provide regular reporting to the project management office.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure work quality and adherence to engineering drawings and technical specs.
- Identify and resolve any issues or delays affecting construction timelines.
- Lead daily toolbox talks and ensure proper implementation of safety procedures.
- Manage logistics of equipment delivery, storage, and installation.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to address technical issues during construction.
- Oversee site documentation including method statements, risk assessments, material approvals, and inspection reports.
- Act as the primary point of contact for site-related matters with contractors, local authorities, and consultants.
What you bring to the role:
- Degree or diploma in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in site management, preferably with large-scale solar PV projects.
- Proven track record in managing multidisciplinary construction teams and contractors.
- Strong understanding of solar PV construction methodologies, HSE, and QA/QC practices.
- Proficiency with MS Office, scheduling tools (Primavera/MS Project), and site reporting.
- Knowledge of local regulations and permitting requirements related to renewable energy projects.
