We are currently looking a Finance Manager to spearhead our operations in Bulgaria, lead the Finance/Accounting department, and play as key person during our development & construction projects.

 

Your role will encompass:

  • Monitors financial performance of Projects (P&L, cash flow, actual vs budget etc.), ensuring accuracy and control
  • Conducts the preparation of regular monthly / quarterly / annually management accounts, Cashflows, Forecasts and other relevant reports
  • Participates in project Budgeting preparation in cooperation with the technical team
  • Participates in contract negotiations (Clients – Sub-Contractors) with regards to financial issues
  • Ensures the accurate and timely recording of financial results, in accordance with local and IFRS standards
  • Ensures timely closure of finance audit recommendations, participates in preparation, implementation, and monitoring of corrective action plans
  • Responsible for the timely and smooth compliance with Local Tax Authorities
  • Deals with the company’s banks regarding accounts upkeeping, payments, receipts and foreign currency transactions
  • Participates in the financial and tax due diligence for the acquisition and disposal of projects
  • Coordinates financial and administrative matters with the local authorities in collaboration with the legal and technical teams
  • Assists in labor and legal matters in cooperation with HR & Legal

 

What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance
  • Master's Degree will be considered an asset
  • At least 10 years in the relevant role (construction and / or energy sectors will be considered an asset)
  • Experience in managing people
  • Financial reporting experience under IFRS and familiarity with key accounting judgements for engineering services businesses and accounting for long term projects
