Job Description: 

 

We are currently looking for a Site QA/QC Mechanical Enginer to join our team, part of our M-Power Projects Division based in Poland

 

By joining this role, you’ll play a vital role in our company’s effort to monitor suppliers and/or erection subcontractors in the implementation of the Project Quality Plan and the Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), ensuring compliance with all required standards and procedures. You will report directly to the Site QA/QC Manager and contribute to maintaining the overall quality performance of the project. 

 

Your role will encompass:

  • Report to the Site Quality Manager and liaise with the construction team on all quality-related issues.
  • Implement and monitor the Project Quality Plan, ensuring adherence to project specifications, procedures, ITPs, and method statements.
  • Manage inspections and RFIs, maintain records, and ensure all works comply with ITP requirements using calibrated equipment.
  • Oversee material and equipment inspections, preservation, and installation activities, including welding, alignment, and testing.
  • Perform functional and mechanical completion checks, including hydrotesting and verification of rotating equipment, tanks, and vessels.
  • Identify, report, and support resolution of non-conformities to maintain project quality performance.

 

What you bring to the role: 

  • Formal Engineering education with relevant technical or NDE certifications.
  • University degree and/or Certified Welding Inspector qualification (CSWIP, PCN BINDT, or ISO 9712 Level 2/3) preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in mechanical and NDE inspection activities within Power Plants or Oil & Gas projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of construction standards, codes, and regulations (e.g. PED, PE(R)S, ASME BPVC, BS-EN standards for welding/NDT/piping).
  • Proven experience in rotating equipment inspections and ATEX/Hazardous Area equipment inspections.
  • Solid understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
