We are currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Energy Generation & Management division in Athens, Greece.
By joining this role, you will play a key role in managing the financial operations of the power trading section, ensuring accurate P&L tracking, cash flow forecasting, and subsidiary oversight. You will also be responsible for regulatory compliance and optimizing financial processes.
Your role will encompass:
- Managing P&L tracking, cash flow forecasting, and financial reporting for trading activities.
- Overseeing the financial performance of subsidiaries and ensuring optimal fund allocation.
- Ensuring compliance with financial and energy trading regulations.
- Enhancing financial tracking, reporting, and forecasting through automation and process optimization.
- Collaborating with finance, legal, and trading teams to improve financial operations.
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s in Finance, Economics, or Engineering; Master’s in Energy Economics/Finance preferred.
- Proven track record in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting within energy trading.
- Advanced Excel, Power BI, and VBA/Python for financial modeling and automation.
- Strong understanding of energy trading platforms (EEX, Nord Pool) and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong analytical mindset, risk assessment expertise, and ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders.
