We are currently looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our People Services team in Chile.  

 

In this role, you will oversee end-to-end payroll activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of employee pay, tax filings, and benefits. You will also manage payroll records, support audits, and collaborate with HR, Finance, and other stakeholders to continuously improve payroll processes. 

 

Your role will encompass:   

  • Managing end-to-end payroll processes, including regular cycles, adjustments, and terminations, ensuring accuracy and compliance 
  • Updating employee records in the payroll system, including salaries, deductions, tax info, and benefits 
  • Supporting year-end processes, including tax form issuance, reconciliations, and filings 
  • Performing payroll reconciliations and preparing reports for audits and financial reviews 
  • Ensuring payroll compliance with labor laws, tax codes, and internal policies 
  • Responding to payroll-related queries from employees and managers via ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution 
  • Collaborating with HR and Finance to align on payroll inputs, reporting needs, and process improvements 
  • Preparing payroll tax filings and statutory contributions in line with local and international regulations 
  • Contributing to system updates, testing, and enhancing payroll processes for efficiency and accuracy 

 

What you bring to the role:   

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field 
  • 3+ years of experience in payroll processing or a similar role 
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, tax regulations, and internal payroll policies 
  • Proficient in payroll systems and data management tools 
  • Experience with payroll reconciliations, reporting, and supporting audits 
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to address queries and ensure transparency
