We are currently looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our Electrical Design Engineering team in our offices in Athens.
Your role will encompass:
- Preparation of technical specifications in line with projects technical requirements
- Development of technical studies, drawings, schematics, cable lists, wiring diagrams
- Drafting RfQs for equipment
- Evaluation of technical offers from suppliers
- Technical review and coordination of the deliverable design documents from suppliers
- Meetings with suppliers/customer abroad
- Participation in factory acceptance tests
- Technical support to other company departments (proposals, erection, commissioning, etc.)
- Technical review of documentation prepared by the team members
- Technical coordination with team members
- In general, participation at every stage of a project or projects execution following the project(s) time schedule regarding the electrical design
What you bring to the role:
- Experience in Medium and High voltage systems for Protection & Control / SCADA
- 5+ years experience in power industry (Power plants, HV/MV substations) and large-scale construction projects for Protection & Control/SCADA.
- Proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Good background in electrical systems, familiar with international and European standards
- Working knowledge of at least one power systems analysis software (DIgSILENT PowerFactory, ETAP, PSS/E, PSCAD, EMTP)
- Fluency in English
- Problem solving mentality
- High level of personal initiative and team spirit
