We are currently looking for a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our team, part of our Information Security Division, based in Paiania.  

By joining this role, you’ll play a vital role in our company’s effort for securing business continuity by protecting critical data and ensuring the resilience of our IT systems and security practices.   

Your role will encompass: 

• Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect systems, networks, and data. 

• Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scans. 

• Monitor and respond to security breaches, incidents, and anomalies. 

• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices. 

• Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security controls into systems and applications. 

• Manage security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, Endpoint Protection, and SIEM systems. 

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST). 

• Generate reports on security metrics and incident response activities for management and stakeholders. 

 What you bring to the role:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 

• 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related IT fields. 

• Understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and architecture (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, VLANs). 

• Hands-on experience with security tools (e.g., Firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, antivirus software, Email Security). 

• Familiarity with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell). 

• Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). 

• Experience in integrating security into CI/CD pipelines, container security (Docker, Kubernetes), Zero Trust Architecture, and compliance in regulated industries, with forensic investigation, malware analysis, and AI applications in cybersecurity, are a plus. 

• Problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying potential issues and opportunities for improvement.
