We are currently looking for a Site Manager to join our M Renewables team in Italy for the construction of utility-scale solar projects in locations in Italy.

Your role will encompass: 

• studies deeply project SOW including engineering drawings, BOM, material purchase orders and subcontract requisitions
• reports project progress to the Project Manager
• oversees, with the help of site engineers, subcontractors's installation works
• reports daily about the material received onsite
• liaise, in collaboration with Procurement and Logistics departments, with suppliers to arrange the material deliveries
• monitors compliance with Melen Energy & Metals technical requirements and all the applicable norms and standards
• manage the site facilities from a technical and administrative point of view. Rent offices, provide the necessary utilities (water, electricity, internet), organize cleaning activities stipulating contract with local suppliers
• liaise with DL and CSE where necessary
• be nominated as safety responsible of the site (“preposto alla sicurezza”)

What you bring to the role:

• minimum 5 years working experience as site manager within construction
• University Degree in Electrical/Mechanical or Civil Engineering is a plus
• excellent use of Microsoft Office and AUTOCAD
• leadership and negotiation skills
• attention to details
• willingness to relocate 
• fluent knowledge of Italian and English
