Senior HR System and Data specialist

We are currently looking for a Senior HR Systems & Data Specialist – Global to join our People Services team.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for building the architecture of the SAP Work Zone platform and ensuring smooth, reliable operation within HR People Services, as well as the efficient maintenance of the HR knowledge base. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role responsible for content updates, user support, and governance. You will bridge functional needs with technical capabilities, enabling a seamless digital workplace experience for employees. 

 

Your role will encompass:  

  • Oversee the Work Zone solution, manage the module, and ensure system integrity through data uploads 
  • Build the solution architecture based on business and functional requirements, maintain and configure workspaces, pages, templates, widgets, and embedded tools
  • Provide first-line support, handle escalated queries, and ensure timely resolution 
  • Regularly review the HR Knowledge Base for accuracy, compliance, and up-to-date HRIS data 
  • Administers content maintenance, monitor adoption, and define and manage taxonomy, metadata and structure for all HR knowledge articles. 
  • Analyze HR data, identify trends, and contribute to HR insights and business performance and employee engagement 
  • Monitor system performance, resolve incidents, and enforce data security protocols 
  • Collaborate with IT teams on executing updates, patches, and system enhancements 
  • Test new features, coordinate go-live activities, and resolve technical issues with vendors 
  • Deliver training and troubleshooting support for HR employees on HRIS system functionalities 
  • Ensure HRIS reports meet regulatory standards, and generate operational dashboards 

 

What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field
  • Prior experience in HR operations, knowledge management, or digital workplace platforms preferred
  • Working knowledge of SAP Work Zone or similar platforms (e.g., SharePoint, ServiceNow, Confluence)
  • Basic understanding of HRIS systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors) and their integration with content platforms
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS for layout/content formatting (optional)
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of reporting tools like Power BI or Excel dashboards is a plus
  • Experience in maintaining and organizing knowledge bases or document libraries
  • Strong skills in content structuring, categorization, and version control
  • Ability to systematically investigate user issues, liaise with IT, and close support loops efficiently
  • Customer-focused approach when supporting users across business units or geographies
  • Experience following governance/service management processes (e.g., ticketing systems, SLAs)
  • Highly organized and proactive in managing multiple content requests or operational tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken) required; Greek fluency preferred
