Senior Data Analyst

We are currently looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our Energy Generation and Management division in Athens, Greece. 

By joining this role, you will play a key role in supporting the Power Trading team by turning market data into actionable insights that drive strategic trading decisions and performance monitoring. 

 

Your role will encompass: 

  • Analyze energy market trends, trading performance, and financial outcomes. 

  • Design and deploy advanced dashboards and reports (primarily in Power BI) to support real-time decision-making. 

  • Collaborate closely with traders and other stakeholders to identify data needs and deliver analytical solutions. 

  • Monitor and forecast key indicators such as prices, demand/supply patterns. 

  • Enhance data collection procedures and support ETL processes to improve data quality and accessibility. 

  • Act as a liaison between Power Trading and Data Management teams to drive cross-functional data initiatives. 

  • Develop and refine predictive models to support market analysis and trading strategies. 

  • Process large datasets to uncover trends, patternsand correlations in the power markets. 

 

What you bring to the role: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field. 

  • 3+ years of proven experience in data analysis, ideally in energy or financial markets. 

  • Strong skills in statistical analysis and data modeling. 

  • Proficiency in data tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel (advanced), SQL, Python or R. 

  • Solid understanding of database systems and ETL processes. 

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
