We are currently looking for a Senior Contracts Engineer based in Athens offices who will support the large-scale turn-key Power Projects of METLEN both in Greece and abroad.
Your role will encompass:
- Draft, comment, review, negotiate EPC contracts (FIDIC, MF-1, NEC3, BrownBook etc.) with clients and business (Contract prices range from €70 mi. to €500 mi.) and suppliers and subcontractors contracts (Contract prices range from €5k to €15 mi.)
- Participate in face-to-face meetings for negotiations of EPC contracts.
- Act as the point of contact for clients, sales managers, project managers, site managers and engineers of business.
- Coordinate assignments to the Technical Contracts Engineers under the supervisor’s directions.
- Support, direct and review deliverables from the Technical Contracts Engineers.
- Drafts, comment, reviewstechnical/commercial terms for Tenders for clients and coordinate deadlines
- Liaise with external stakeholders (technical and financial staff, suppliers/subcontractors, contract teams, client’s representatives) for technical contracts coordination as well as with internal stakeholders (legal team, project management teams, sales team, procurement team, finance team, engineering team, administration) for technical contracts coordination and implementation.
What you bring to the role:
- MSc degree in Engineering.
- 3+ years professional experience in contracts compilation, negotiation and management in the construction/energy sectors.
- Working experience with standard contractual documents, such as FIDIC and MF-1, will be appreciated.
- Additional project and/or contract management training on international construction/ industrial projects will be appreciated.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive.
- Fluency in Greek and English.
- Availability for national and international travel is welcomed.
