METKA ΑΤΕ, as a subsidiary of METLEN, has long-term experience in the infrastructure sector, holding a seventh class contractor’s certificate and now specializes in construction activities, undertaking infrastructure projects such as road construction, certified buildings, railway, marine projects, etc., as well as solid and liquid waste management projects.

We are currently looking for a Civil Proposals Engineer to join our Proposals team for METKA building projects based in Athen’s offices (Marousi).

Your role will encompass:

• Understanding the technical aspects of the Tender
• Identifying any risks as they arise from Tender documents associated with the Site conditions and requested arrangement
• Executing calculations for estimation of basic dimensions of several structures of the Project
• Evaluating bids from Sub-contractors and suppliers and presenting recommendations to the Proposal Manager
• Contacting the Customer, Sub-contractors, and external Consultants to fulfill the Tender requirements
• Composing Civil Works proposal (documentation, drawings, time schedule, and budget)
• Clarifying with the Customer for the submitted offer
• Archiving and organizing the proposal data

What you bring to the role:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / Architectural Engineering

• Master’s degree will be considered an asset
• 5+ years of work experience
• Experience in Structural and Architectural Design analysis and/or Construction Site operations (previous engagement in proposal/tendering procedures will be considered an asset)
• Proficient in AutoCAD (BIM knowledge will be considered an asset)
• Fluent in English

• Good knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
• Robust organizational, communication, and time management skills

• Collaborative work with multidisciplinary teams, including Mechanical and Electrical Engineers
