We are seeking for a skilled Legal Counsel with strong expertise in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts to support high-profile projects across the infrastructure, energy, and industrial sectors. This role combines hands-on contract management with strategic legal advisory, working closely with international stakeholders.
Your role will encompass:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating EPC contracts, subcontracts, consortium agreements, and related documents.
- Advising project teams throughout the entire lifecycle—from tendering and contract formation to execution and dispute resolution.
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating contractual and legal risks in EPC projects.
- Supporting internal teams with interpretation of contractual obligations and rights.
- Managing claims, variations, and disputes in collaboration with project teams and external counsel.
- Ensuring compliance with local and international laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
- Coordinating with external legal advisors, government agencies, and international clients.
- Contributing to the contract management strategy and standardization of templates.
What you bring to the role:
- A law degree from a recognized university and admission to practice in a relevant jurisdiction.
- 6–8 years of post-qualification experience with a strong focus on EPC/project contracts.
- Professional experience in energy, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
- Proven track record in international projects or collaboration with multinational clients.
- Full professional proficiency in English (drafting, negotiations, communication).
- Knowledge of FIDIC and other standard contract forms is an advantage.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
