Incentives Officer - Accountant

We are currently looking for an Incentives Officer - Accountant to join our Incentives team part of our Group Tax and Incentives Division in our Athens Offices. 

By joining this role, you’ll play a vital role in supporting Group’s Investments through Incentives from European and Greek aid programs.

 

Your role will encompass: 

  • Monitor and manage investment expenses and progress under national and EU Development Programs (e.g., NSRF, Horizon, Innovation Fund).
  • Support the preparation and submission of investment plans and funding requests for inclusion in Development Programs.
  • Assist with completion, collection, and utilization of financial incentives such as grants and tax exemptions.
  • Draft and oversee the annual budget for the Investment Incentives department.
  • Prepare reports and ensure compliance with contract procedures, invoice approvals, and long-term obligations of funded investments.

 

What you bring to the role: 

  • University degree in Economics or Accounting.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of accounting (IFRS) and Greek taxation.
  • Good understanding of financial statement analysis.
  • Experience with investment evaluation models and ERP systems (SAP) is a plus.
