We are currently looking for a Financial Controller to join our Finance & MIS team, part of our Finance General Division based in our offices in Athens.
In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our company’s consolidation efforts.
Your role will encompass:
- Participation in the Group’s financial reporting and consolidation process
- Participation in reviewing of General Ledgers for reporting purposes
- Assisting in the preparation of Financial Statements and Reporting Packages to ensure timely submission
- Coordinating with external Auditors
- Assisting in the preparation of IFRS and Consolidation adjustments
- Handling ad-hoc requests
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a relevant field
- Approximately 3 years of experience in an accounting department preferably under IFRS
- Previous working experience in Financial statements preparation will be considered an asset
- Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards is appreciated
- Very good knowledge and working experience with MS Office (especially Excel and Word)
- Fluency in English language with verbal & writing communication skills
- Teamwork mentality
- Completed military obligations (where applicable)
