Job Description

Assistant Accountant-Cash Flow

We are currently looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our Cash Flow team part of our Finance General Division, based in our Marousi offices.

By joining this role, you will monitor the bank accounts, ensure the proper cash management and maintain precise financial records.

Your role will encompass:

Liaise with the banks and execute bank transactions
Reconcile the bank statements and generate reports
Assist in the monthly, semi-annual, and annual closing process
Prepare, monitor, and reconcile accounting entries, including balance sheet and general ledger accounts
Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets, financial reports, and payment orders while liaising with internal departments
Maintain high levels of accuracy and efficiency in accounting tasks, meeting tight deadlines when required

What you bring to the role:

University degree in Accounting & Finance (an MSc is considered an advantage)
2+ years of relevant professional experience in banking institutions, shipping, or multinational companies
Good knowledge of applicable Accounting standards
Strong familiarity with ERP, Accounting IT tools, and Web Banking Environments; Experience in the SAP system will be considered an asset
Excellent PC literacy, advanced user of MS Office (especially MS Excel)
