We are currently looking for an Accountant to join our Finance team in our UK office.
Your role will encompass:
- Perform accounting activities (booking disbursements /cash receipts).
- Monitor the receivables/payables and reconcile bank statements for several legal entities of the group.
- Prepare payments on various e-banking platforms.
- Participate in the cash flow recording activities (actual) within the group to ensure accurate, and timely set of cash flow analysis.
- Collaborate with financial controlling teams to ensure the on time recording of the cash in & out activities.
- Assist the Country Finance Manager and the Controllers with monitoring budgets.
- Maintain and reconcile the balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
- Assist the Country Finance Manager with annual audit activities.
- Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance in cooperation with Country Finance Manager.
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in an international environment.
- Solid accounting and tax skills including VAT, withholding tax, CIT, etc.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines in terms of both internal and external reporting requirements ensuring IFRS compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
- SAP knowledge is required.
- Prior experience within Renewables and/or EPC construction industry, will be regarded as a strong plus.
