Metlen Energy and Metals is seeking a Project Engineer to support our Solar Power Plant Construction activities within the M Renewables Division in Dublin, Ireland.
Reporting to the Construction Manager, this role is ideal for a technically strong engineer with construction site experience who can support high-quality, safe, and efficient delivery of solar energy projects.
Your Role Will Encompass:

Review and understand project designs; identify and report inconsistencies to the Construction Manager.

Monitor daily construction progress, site activities, and material deliveries.

Supervise subcontractors and ensure compliance with approved designs, quality standards, and project requirements.

Communicate design changes and ensure correct on-site implementation.

Monitor construction materials stock levels.

Implement and support project quality control and corporate QHSE procedures.

Investigate site issues, delays, or incidents and support corrective actions.
What You Bring to the Role:

Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.

Minimum 3 years’ construction experience; solar project experience is an advantage.

Strong technical and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure.

Advanced AutoCAD skills and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
