Job Description: 

 

Metlen Energy and Metals is seeking a Project Development Analyst to support our M Renewables Division in London. This position will report to the Project Development Manager. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and financial modelling skills, a solid understanding of corporate finance principles, and a genuine interest in renewable energy project development across Europe.


Your Role Will Encompass:

  • Support the Development Team in assessing, analysing, and executing solar PV and energy storage projects through acquisition, development, and financing stages.

  • Build, maintain, and review financial models for renewable energy projects.

  • Conduct market, financial, and investment analyses to support business decisions.

  • Prepare investment papers, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Assist with due diligence, acquisition, and project financing processes.

  • Track project performance metrics and support pipeline management.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, finance, and legal.


What You Bring to the Role:

  • Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or Engineering.

  • 1–3 years’ experience in business, finance, or project development.

  • Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities.

  • Solid understanding of corporate finance and investment principles..

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience in renewables (preferred).

  • Professional qualification (CFA, ACA, or similar) advantageous.
