Contract Administrator – M Renewables Division, London, UK
Metlen Energy and Metals is hiring a Contract Administrator to support our M Renewables Division in London. Reporting to the Project Director, UK, this role works closely with the EPC team and project managers to ensure effective contract management and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and administer contracts, subcontracts, and change orders in line with company policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with project, estimating, and legal teams to meet all contractual obligations.
- Track milestones, deliverables, and deadlines to ensure timely execution.
- Maintain accurate contract documentation and support dispute resolution and claims.
- Ensure compliance with insurance, licensing, and bonding requirements.
- Support bids through tender reviews and risk assessments.
- Advise stakeholders on contract terms and conditions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Law, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in contract administration, ideally within construction.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, construction documentation, and project delivery methods.
- Experience with FIDIC and solar project contracts (PPA, EPC, interconnection agreements).
- Excellent organisation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with project or contract management tools a plus.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
