Site Commissioning Manager

We are currently looking for a Site Commissioning Manager to lead our Commissioning team in a CCGT Power Plant project in Grudziadz, Poland.


Your role will encompass:

  • Lead the Power Plant Commissioning execution and planning, ensure the completeness and technical integrity in accordance with the overall requirements of the relevant project specifications, the customer requirements and the applicable codes and standards.
  • Evaluate, assess and resolve the Power Plant Commissioning technical issues raised during projects execution.
  • Coordinate and manage the Power Plant Commissioning personnel (in-house or outsourced).
  • Participate in finding, negotiate, contract and set the foreign commissioning Engineers / subcontractors for the Project's Commissioning phase
  • Liaise and collaborate with the client: to ensure satisfaction of end user contractual-technical requirements regarding Power Plant Commissioning;
  • Develop and review the Power plant Commissioning Work Method Statements and Risk Assessment, as well the time schedule roadmap.
  • For any Equipment malfunctions and/or lack of performance that can lead to delays of the Project Time schedule, Commissioning Manager has to adapt activities and develop solutions/workarounds to overcome such hurdles.
  • Assist and guide the personnel responsible for Power Plant Commissioning
  • Promote the Company’s Code of Conduct and ethics to the personnel.
  • Cooperate with the Head of Department to evaluate the personnel of the Power Plant Commissioning Team: to set the Internal Strategic Maps for the personnel development and the relevant indicators to measure and review the targets’ achievement.
  • Assist in creating in-house standards and procedures for the execution of the work in the department and in the division respectively.
  • Be the liaison with Power Plant Commissioning external vendors for supporting Department and Division.
  • Reporting for the Project Commissioning progress to the Head of Commissioning Dpt. And to the Site and/or Project Manager.

 

What you bring to the role:

  • University degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • 7+ years of experience in Energy Sector Managerial roles. Broad knowledge and experience in the energy sector in design, erection and commissioning domains, preferably in thermal, waste, solar power plants and electrical transmission grid systems.
  • Specialized testing in: EPC/O&M Turn-Key Energy projects preferably in thermal power plants sector.
  • Excellent command in English.
  • Ability to train, develop, orient, and inspire subordinates and team members.
  • Leadership Skills with prior experience in leading multi-tasking teams
  • Excellent skills in managerial abilities, leadership and decision making.
  • Excellent skills critical thinking and problem solving.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and organize.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office.
