METKA ΑΤΕ, as a subsidiary of METLEN, has long-term experience in the infrastructure sector, holding a seventh-class contractor’s certificate and now specializes in construction activities, undertaking infrastructure projects such as road construction, certified buildings, railway, marine projects, etc., as well as solid and liquid waste management projects. 

We are currently looking for a Leed Engineer to join our team for METKA building projects in Athens.

Your role will encompass:

• Understanding the sustainability protocols (LEED, BREΕAM)
• Understanding the technical aspects of the projects
• Daily visit to the worksite and communication with the foreman and engineers about daily tasks.
• Prepare sustainability deliverables: materials’ submission, technical reports, sustainability reports
• Contacting the Sub-contractors, and external Consultants to fulfill the LEED or BREΕAM requirements
• Contacting internal audits on the site in order to verify that LEED or BREΕAM requirements are fulfilled.

What you bring to the role:

• Engineering Degree or Diploma
• Master’s degree will be considered an asset
• 2+ years of work experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team
• Problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Fluent in English

• Good knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
