We are currently looking for an Information Security Specialist to join our Information Security team, based in Athens. This internal opportunity is ideal for those looking to expand their impact and grow within the company while continuing to contribute to our shared success.

By joining this role, you’ll play a vital part in our company’s effort to format and enhance the Information Security Framework (Information Security Management System) that ensures business continuity and the security of the Company's business data. 

Your role will encompass:   

• Participate in the supervision and implementation of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) throughout the Company. 

• Update and/or renewal of the Information Security Framework as assigned to the Chief Information Security Officer by Senior Management, as well as its annual renewal or whenever deemed necessary (as a result of a significant change that will affect the risk assessment), ensuring its universality of implementation. 

• Design and develop new information systems and propose security requirements in collaboration with the other stakeholders. 

• Participate in the response to security incidents involving the Company's information systems 

• Assist in periodic risk assessments in relation to information security (Risk Assessments) and propose methods and mechanisms to reduce risk. 

• Monitor risk indicators and effectiveness of security measures at regular intervals. 

• Assist the team in certification projects, certification renewal, compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements within the scope of his responsibilities. 

What you bring to the role:   

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, or a related field.   

• Professional certifications such as CISM, CISA, CISSP, CRISC, ISO 27001 LA would be considered an asset (or in process of completion)  

• +3 years of experience in similar roles/ positions.  

• Project management skills (PMP certification) would be considered an asset. 

• Problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying potential issues and opportunities for improvement.
