We are currently looking for a Renewable & Storage Energy Portfolio Specialist to join our Energy Generation and Management division in Milan, Italy.
By joining this role, you will actively participate in the daily operations of the department of Renewable & Storage Asset Optimization, with a strong focus on Day Ahead and Intraday trading of Renewable & Storage Assets.
Your role will encompass:
- Managing the trading of Renewable & Storage Assets in the Italian Electricity Market.
- Monitoring regulatory developments and participating in industry conferences and public consultations.
- Developing automation and algorithmic tools to enhance trading operations.
- Expanding the department’s presence in the Italian market while supporting operations in other regional power markets (GR, RO, BG).
- Actively participating in weekend and holiday operational duties on a rotating basis.
What you bring to the role:
- Proven experience (1+ years) in the power market industry, preferably with exposure to intraday and balancing markets.
- Κnowledge of the Italian Electricity Market’s regulatory framework.
- Technical expertise in Python, GAMS, or VBA (Power BI knowledge is a plus).
- Bachelor's degree in electrical/mechanical engineering, Economics, or a related field. A postgraduate degree in AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or Modelling will be considered an asset.
- Ability to work under pressure, collaborate within teams, and drive innovation in trading operations.
