We are currently seeking a Senior Treasury Officer - Corporate Funding & Capital Markets to join our Treasury team, based in Athens, Greece.
Your role will encompass:
- Monitor and manage group-wide credit positions.
- Oversee treasury operations to ensure exposures remain within approved limits.
- Execute and administer corporate funding transactions, including bilateral/syndicated loans, revolving facilities, bonds, and export finance.
- Monitor business operations for compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and credit contractual obligations.
- Communicate regularly with financial institutions to process operational matters.
- Prepare and review treasury reporting packages for senior management, the Board, and auditors.
- Collaborate with finance, tax, accounting, business, and legal teams on funding, credit, and reporting matters.
- Contribute to treasury policy updates, process improvements, and internal controls aligned with organizational objectives.
- Coordinate due diligence activities where required.
- Support the implementation of the Treasury System.
- Mentor and support junior treasury officers in daily operations and professional development.
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in a related discipline will be considered an asset.
- 7+ years of experience in corporate treasury, corporate finance, or banking.
- Strong knowledge of corporate financing instruments and debt capital markets.
- Familiarity with treasury systems (e.g., TMS, Bloomberg).
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
- Solid understanding of legal principles of financing.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a proactive and structured approach.
