Financial Analyst

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support financial operations and provide in-depth performance analysis within the metallurgy industry. The Financial Analyst will play a key role in monitoring costs, analyzing production data, building forecasts, and delivering actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making and business growth.

 

Your role will encompass:

Financial Analysis and Reporting:

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly management reports, profitability analysis, and annual financial statements.

  • Develop financial models and dashboards to track KPIs, margins, and operational efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements in reporting processes.

Cost and Variance Analysis:

  • Monitor and analyze production costs (raw materials, energy, labor, overhead) to identify cost drivers and efficiency opportunities.

  • Conduct variance analysis between actual, budgeted, and forecasted results, highlighting risks and opportunities.

  • Provide recommendations to improve cost structures and enhance profitability.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Support the development of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial plans.

  • Track and analyze budget performance, preparing monthly reports with variance explanations.

  • Partner with department heads to ensure financial objectives align with operational goals.

Production and Performance Insights:

  • Analyze production processes and efficiency metrics to identify trends and potential improvements.

  • Collaborate with operations teams to optimize resource allocation, scheduling, and cost efficiency.

  • Provide insights on capital investments, ROI analysis, and project evaluations.

 

What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field. Master’s degree or CFA certification is a plus.

  • 3–5 years proven experience in financial analysis within the manufacturing or industrial sector.

  • Strong knowledge of financial modeling, cost analysis, and performance measurement.

  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).

  • Advanced Excel and data visualization skills (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) are a strong advantage.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
