Environmental Engineer

We are currently looking for an Environmental Engineer to join our Engineering & Permitting team in Athens, Greece

By joining this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality environmental, spatial, and urban planning studies, while also overseeing the permitting processes across various projects. The role includes regular travel within Greece to support on-site inspections and collaboration with stakeholders. 

 

Your role will encompass: 

  • Develop and submit Environmental Impact Assessments and other regulatory studies. 
  • Manage and coordinate the issuance of building permits and related documentation. 
  • Contribute to urban planning and spatial design projects. 
  • Conduct on-site visits and inspections across various project locations. 
  • Liaise with public authorities and governmental bodies to ensure project compliance. 
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal project teams. 
  • Stay current with environmental, spatial planning, and urban development legislation. 

 

What you bring to the role: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a related discipline. 
  • Proven experience in environmental studies and permitting processes. 
  • Solid understanding of urban planning and environmental regulations in Greece. 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external authorities. 
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel across Greece. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant engineering or GIS software.
