Business Performance Manager

We are currently looking for a Business Performance Manager to join our Energy Customer Solutions team in Athens, Greece and drive financial insight, cost efficiency, and performance across the energy value chain.

In this role, you will act as the financial and analytical backbone of the Strategy team. You will oversee rolling forecasts, budgeting, cost-to-serve modeling, and profitability tracking across the energy value chain and customer unit economics. You will drive actionable insights across both B2C and B2B segments, optimize commercial performance, and ensure that day-to-day operations are fully aligned with strategic objectives.

 

Your role will encompass:

  • Lead monthly rolling forecasts and annual budgets (Revenue, OpEx, CapEx, Margin), ensuring assumptions reflect market conditions and business priorities.
  • Guide the team in delivering comprehensive financial performance packs for leadership, highlighting variances, risks, and opportunities, including P&L analysis per segment and per customer.
  • Monitor and analyze key cost structures (CtA, CtS, CtR, CoR, wholesale cost, hedging impact, credit losses) and recommend efficiency improvements through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track critical operational and commercial KPIs, identifying trends and anomalies to drive corrective actions.
  • Build financial models to simulate business cases, pricing strategies, cost shocks, and hedging implications, supporting strategic decision-making.
  • Partner with Finance, Commercial, Risk, and Operations teams to drive coordinated performance improvement, including pricing strategy, margin management, and M&A evaluations.
  • Utilize SAP for financial data extraction and Power BI/Tableau for reporting, driving automation and accuracy in performance tracking.

 

 

What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Master’s degree will be considered a plus
  • 5+ years of proven experience in a performance, finance, or analytics-related role.
  • Strong understanding of the energy market.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand clients' strategic goals and provide value-driven solutions.
  • Results-oriented and highly organized, with strong time and priority management skills.
