We are currently looking for a Project Development Manager to join our team, part of our Development team in Romania, under our Renewables division, based in Bucharest, Romania.
By joining this role, you’ll play a vital part in our company’s efforts to advance renewable energy projects in Romania.
Your role will encompass
- Assisting in the development of renewable energy projects in Romania
- Managing and advancing complex projects, achieving development and permitting milestones from greenfield prospecting to construction-ready status
- Understanding the permitting process (wind, solar, storage), interconnection, and market frameworks to ensure successful project execution
- Traveling to project locations to meet with landowners, permitting officials, and local authorities
- Working closely with our Development Department and reporting back to our central office in Bucharest
What you bring to the role
- At least 5 years of proven energy project permitting/development experience
- A strong understanding of the project development process for solar, wind, and storage projects
- Excellent writing skills, including the ability to edit and proofread work prepared by others
- Ability to travel (potentially 1-2 days per week)
- General knowledge of local and state-level permitting processes
- Fluency in Romanian and English (both written and spoken)
