Shift Operations Supervisor

We are currently looking for a Shift Operations Supervisor to join our Operation Energy Center team, as part of our M. Generation & Management Division, for the Korinthos Power Plant located in Agioi Theodoroi, Korinthos.

 

By joining this role, you will be leading the operation of the Energy Generation Complex, ensuring safe and efficient production. You will collaborate with maintenance teams to resolve issues promptly, monitor equipment performance, and enforce all safety and environmental standards. Additionally, you will keep accurate records and support continuous improvement.

 

Your role will encompass:

  • Operate the Energy Generation Complex according to the production schedule during your shift.
  • Supervise shift personnel, guiding them on the correct operation of equipment and procedures.
  • Investigate faults and functional anomalies to ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with maintenance engineers to maintain logbooks and documentation, ensuring safe execution of maintenance work.
  • Draft and revise Operations Department procedures and compile operational logs and anomaly reports.
  • Inspect equipment to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations and optimize capacity.
  • Follow safety protocols during emergencies and promptly report technical issues or suspicious situations to the Operations Manager.

 

What you bring to the role:

  • Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Naval Engineering (registered member of TEE), specialized in the Energy sector.
  • 1+ of professional experience in an industrial field; Εxperience in Thermal Power Stations is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Steam Generators, Combustion Engines, Electric Machines, Electrical Systems, Power Electronics, PLC, and SCADA is considerd as a plus.
  • Very good command of English and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to promptly troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Εxcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational abilities, with experience in task delegation.
  • Availability to work in a rotating 24/7 shift schedule.
